Once I start therapy, will I be in therapy for the rest of my life?
Everyone’s journey in therapy is different. Some individuals might only need short term therapy which might be up to 14 - 20 sessions where they are ready to disengage from counselling support. Other individuals might have multiple areas they would like to focus on which may lead to more ongoing/longer term therapy.
Will attending therapy fix all my problems?
Therapy is about building awareness to notice patterns that may be occurring to help break the negative cycle enabling one to experience a more positive life experience in the future. It further enhances ones own understanding in ones’ self and the part they play in their own experiences as well.
